Suzanne and Ruth also discuss Internet dating and shame. About Ruth: Ruth is a Clinical Psychologist and works with couples and individuals. She is a Certified Advanced Schema Therapist Supervisor/Trainer in both couples and individual Schema Therapy. She trains clinicians and provides supervision to therapists learning Schema Therapy. Prior to becoming a psychologist she worked in student ministry and church settings and has special interests in clergy resilience, women's sexual functioning and church hurt. About Suzanne: After obtaining her Master's degree in clinical psychology from The University of Sydney, she worked in public health for a number of years, working with cancer patients in hospital as well as outpatients at the PTSD clinic at Westmead Hospital and the Bankstown Anxiety Clinic. In her private practice in Sydney, she sees adults from different cultural and faith backgrounds, drawing on cognitive behavioural therapy, schema therapy and other evidence-based treatment models. She sees a lot of Christians, and is passionate about supporting those who serve in ministry and helping them thrive. Suzanne is an active member of her local church, and also serves in the Committee of the Ministry at the Baptist Association in a voluntary capacity. Having been educated both in Hong Kong and in Australia, Suzanne has a bilingual and bicultural background.
